JACK CHISHOLM

MBA, Economist, CFA
CEO / Chief Investment Manager / Founder & Owner

Jack founded Chisholm and Dames Investment Advisors in March of 1981. He is now the chief investment manager of the firm handling the economic modeling for the company.  Prior to forming C&D, Jack was Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Ann Arbor Trust Co. for 12 years. He has also held a Senior Financial Analyst position at Detroit Bank and Trust where he worked from 1963-1969. Jack is associated with the Financial Analyst Federation of Detroit. 


In his free time Jack is a strong supporter of musical theater. He was Past President of the Windsor Light Opera Association and was instrumental in founding the local Thurston Players and Pilgrim Players musical theater groups. Presently he supports theater through his involvement with Friends of Musical Theater and the Muses of Dionysus, organizations that support the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance and the Dionysus theater respectively.


Jack attended the University of Windsor and received his MBA in 1963.

SCOTT CHISHOLM

MBA - Finance
Portfolio Manager / Chief Compliance Officer / President / Owner

Scott joined C&D in 1995. He has an active role in stock analysis and portfolio management as well as client needs and goals analysis. 


Scott began his financial career working for OLDE Discount Brokerage in Detroit. At OLDE, he learned the fundamentals of the brokerage industry and gained valuable experience in trading operations, analyzing securities and servicing clients. Then, while earning his MBA, he joined C&D in a supporting role doing firm operations until earning his degree.


Scott attended Eastern Michigan University, receiving his Finance MBA in 1995. He is a Past President of the Ann Arbor Jaycees and is currently on the Board of the Ann Arbor Jaycees Foundation.

STEVE PIERCE

BBA, Investment Manager since 1996
Passed Series 7, 9/10, 63 and 65 exams

Steve is an Ann Arbor native who graduated from Hope college and then headed out to New York to become a securities analyst at Lebenthal & Company. He later moved on to McDonald Investments and eventually started his own advisory business in 2004 Steve then joined C&D in 2016.

Steve has a a strong interest in opera and musical theater, and has the pipes to pursue his passion, performing in various productions in the Ann Arbor area.


He attended Hope College and received his BBA in 1991.
